Lombard Memorial College of Nursing, Udupi, India was started in 2019 and is a relatively young CSI that has joined the fray in the healthcare education system of India. Approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), this affiliated college is situated in the Union territory of Karnataka at Udupi. The institute which is located in a 20-acre campus specific nursing programmes two of them have an admission capacity of 39 students at large. A faculty of 18 regular teachers is to its credit, as is the moderate student-teacher ratio, which affords the students greater individual attention and education. This college has the following facilities that are targeting at improving the learning facilitation to the college students. For practical training the college boasts of a large laboratory measuring 1461 sq.ft and fitted for basic nursing skill. The campus also options easily current facilities like an auditorium for occasions and seminars, physical sports facilities, and a canteen where students get refreshments. In deed, the college has accommodated the need of the hostel facilities for male and female students, in a bid to provide conveniences to students who Luoland students, wherever they are, by offering them comfortable hostels, with segregated sections for male and female students. CSI Lombard Memorial College of Nursing currently offers two full-time nursing programmes: 40 B.Sc Nursing for 4 years and 45 General Nursing and Midwifery ( GNM ) for 3 years. These programmes are aimed at giving a full set of theoretical background and practical experience that is required in nursing practice. At CSI Lombard Memorial College of Nursing, admission is offered based on merit as indicated by performance at the immediately previous qualifying examination.
