The College of Physical Education, Udgir; established in 1985 approved by the Current Government and permanently affiliated to the University of Marathwada, Aurangabad established in Maharashtra. This co-educational institution approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is imparting education in physical education. Located on a 7-acre land, the college offers the present 18 students and has 7 faculties. The institute offers only one degree course, the Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.). The total sanctioned intake capacity of the institute is 50 students per year. Although being a college with a peculiar field of study, the educational process is rich in diverse subject offerings of physical education. For the growth and development of the student’s College of Physical Education, Udgir is equipped with several facilities. The entire campus has good sports amenities to allow students to exercise their skills in various sporting activities.
