College of Nursing, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, is a well established college that is teaching professional nursing. Having its establishment in the year 2015, it is a government college located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The college has a total enrolment of 666 students and the faculty has 143 members which means a student teacher ratio of 21:01 and this makes the college make proper and personalised education to the students. College of Nursing understand the importance of endowing students with the best skills and the best environment in which to acquire their skills. The library is well-stocked with around 10,277 different titles with 1095 reference books and 266 Journals. Students also use 102 e-journals and 314 online books in CD-ROM, and statistical software such as SPSS and PASS. It has up to date laboratories, it has an auditorium for events or seminars besides boasting of good IT facilities. Aids to students’ health and social development include sports and games, gym, and a cafeteria that the college provides to the students. Emergency medical services can be obtained from a health centre with first aid facilities. The institute has also hostel facilities for students which are gender specific so that those coming from different regions of the country can find comfortable accommodation. The College of Nursing offers one full-time undergraduate programme, B.Sc. Nursing . This programme has four years of training and the institute has approved an intake of fifty students, such move is because the institute has strict standards of education and hence ensures it controls the number of students per class.
