The College of Forestry, Ranichauri, came into existence in 2011 as an affiliated college at Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. This co-educational institution specialises in forest education and research. Undergraduate and postgraduate courses fill a large number in the campus, which is spread over 501 acres, with a congenial atmosphere for pursuing studies in the said branches of sciences. Presently, the college has a total student strength of 288 students and a faculty strength of 13, hence assuring personalised attention and quality education. It is part of the Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry (VCSG UUHF), Bharsar. Other facilities in the College of Forestry, Ranichaur, include the following to enrich the learning process among students. It has a good college library that exposes students to vast literature and research materials in the field of forestry. A health centre equipped with first-aid facilities is available for exigencies. This provides for facilities in physical fitness through a well-equipped gyonin campus.
