The College of Agricultural Engineering was established in 1983 at Rajendranagar, Andhra Pradesh, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University. This is a co-educational institution aimed at satisfying the prime objective of promoting agricultural engineering and technology education. This university, affiliated with UGC, has different programs in agricultural engineering and allied fields. The faculty strength of the College of Agricultural Engineering, ANGRAU, is 1,416. The College of Agricultural Engineering has courses addressing various aspects of Agricultural Engineering and Technology. The institution offers 7 full-time courses: undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs. At the undergraduate level, it offers two B.Tech programs: Agricultural Engineering and Technology, and Food Science and Engineering, both with an intake of 90 students. At the postgraduate level, M.Tech in Agricultural Process and Food Engineering, Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, and Soil and Water Engineering are offered, where the respective intakes for the same are 5, 3, and 3. The students are also awarded a Diploma in Agriculture with an intake of 10 students.
