CM Engineering College, Secunderabad

Overview

CM Engineering College, Secunderabad,, was inaugurated in the year 2005 and is situated in Maisammaguda, Dhulapally, Secunderabad, Telangana. The college recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has been imparting technical education in the field of engineering for more than the last fifteen years. Though CM Engineering College has a large enrolment of students with 2231 and a faculty with only 197, the college offers an appropriate ambience for learning. CM Engineering College is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUA), Anantapur . CM Engineering College campus is located in the middle of Secunderabad city but ensures that the environment stays more academic as compared to a highly populated city area. Due to the lack of more information about facilities in college, engineering colleges provide most essential amenities, including well-equipped laboratories, libraries and computer centres for the students. Postgraduate programme M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering dominates the provision of engineering courses offered at CM Engineering College. This shows the institution’s ability to promote postgraduate education in emerging major technological disciplines. The admission processes in CM Engineering College are, however, similar to the general processes of institutions of engineering in India. As in some other engineering college, CM Engineering College may perhaps use the scores of students in national and state engineering entrance examinations for admission.
