CKCollege of Education at Chellankuppam was started in the year 2008 and it is an affiliated college situated in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu. This contains both male and female students and is reaccredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college occupies a small area of 0.82 acres and provides a specialised educational environment for its students and faculty; total enrollment of 149 students and 15 faculty members. CK College of Education focuses mainly on teacher training and provides the B.Ed programme of capacity one hundred seats aimed to intending teachers in the nearby area. It has various accommodations that are inclusive of the various amenities that would help to improve the college learning environment of the students. A well-stocked library function as a knowledge center with good number of books of different journals to enable academician. CK College of Education being a teacher education college, it provides only one full-time course; the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program me. This five-semester programme has an approved capacity of one hundred students in order to ensure that the institution churns out qualified teachers. According to the curriculum of the B.Ed course, it prepares these students for job placement in the teaching profession. However, the overall number of graduates produced is unascertainable, yet the college addressees its exclusive focus on the production of teachers impacting greatly in the education sector in the region.
