Choudhary TT College, Jaipur, was established in 2008 as an affiliated college of Teacher Education. The current institution exists in Kotputli, Jaipur district – Sangtera- and it’s a co-educational institution that occupies a small piece of land measuring 1.1861 acres. The College of Teachers Education is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education NCTE for norms of quality in its educational programmes. As an institution committed to the development of teachers, trainers and academics, Choudhary TT College provides 3 programmes comprising two integrated bachelor's Degree courses whose total student capacity is 300 for all programmes. It has a good student enrollment ratio of 16 to 182 students. Effective student-faculty ratios positively affect the quality of tutorial activities, enhancing learning. The college conducts a 2-year full-time B.Ed.Coursework and a 4-year integrated B.A. B.Ed. Programme, both recognised by the Government of Rajasthan and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It is affiliated with the University of Rajasthan , Jaipur. The college has facilities that aim at improving the education of students in the college. A good reading room is essential, along with speciality labs addressing tangible learning subjects in every field. From the perspective of the total personality, the college has a sporting ground and a gymnasium, wherein the students can play as well as work out for a healthy mind and body. The auditorium is used to conduct various events and organise seminars, whereas the cafeteria offers students to rest and communicate with each other. Student welfare is also accorded prime importance in the college with a first aid health centre. Good teaching facilities and infrastructure in today’s classes make it possible to expose students to modern teaching and research practices and tools. Choudhary TT College is designed to offer a narrow scope of teacher education programmes. The college provides three full-time courses: a two-year B.Ed programme and two four-year integrated courses, BA.B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed. All these programmes have an approved capacity of 100 students, which translates to 300 in total for all courses that are offered in the school. These are special study programmes which aito enlighten the students as future educators and prepare them for further successful careers by providing them with theoretical knowledge in combination with practical teaching experience. The college provides admission to the students based on merit, according to the marks scored in the qualifying examination and or entrance examination for admission to Choudhary TT College. For the B.Ed. Programme, the admissions are made as per the Ethical norms laid down by the state government, UT administration and affiliated university.
