Chezhian College of Education, Kalasapakkam was set up in the year 2005, is one of the renowned institutions in teacher training in Thiruvannamalai of Tamil Nadu. This is a co-educational institute being a college affiliated to the MAHE and NAAC certified and NCTE recognised teaching institute with an affiliation ID of 531/TE/TE-I/2004/AGXXIV / 007. Located at a total area of 5.67 acres, the college provides two main courses in education. Chezhian College of Education has a student enrolment capacity of 460 and has been established with an exclusive faculty of 41. Chezhian College of Education offers two full-time courses in education: Bachelors in Education commonly known as B.Ed and Masters in Education commonly known a M.Ed. The B.Ed programme has a sanctioned intake capacity of 100 and M.Ed programme has a sanction seat of 50. Both of them can be accomplished in two years, and will prepare students for being educators of the future. In this section, candidates for admission at Chezhian College of Education are selected based on marks scored in the qualifying or entrance test.
