Because the methods of teaching vary, the institute has access to optical appliances like overhead projectors, audio systems, and television sets. Calcutta Institute of Education currently offers one full-time course: The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme. This two-year degree programme has an approved intake of 100 students to ensure the Institute maintains its quality in teacher training.
