Budha College of Education, Karnal, was established in 2007 as a pioneer teacher-training institute in Haryana, India. It is a co-educational college offering courses essentially in special educationist programmes. The college is affiliated with Kurukshetra University and has approval from NCTE for assuring quality education in the field of teaching. The institution is set across 6 acres. Buddha College of Education is an academically orientated learning institution. Moreover, the enrolment capacity of the college is 384 students, and the total faculty strength is 20 in number. Both programmes would take two years to accomplish. The said programmes embark on the purpose of comprehensive training for future teachers. With these two major programmes, the focus of the college becomes directed towards teacher training with an aim to prepare its students for successful teaching careers. Admission to Budha College of Education is as per guidelines framed by NCTE, Kurukshetra University, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, and by the State Government. Admission to the Buddha College of Education's B.Ed. is through counselling based on reservations in accordance with the government rules. In the case of D.El.Ed., admission shall be based on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or Entrance Examination conducted by concerned authorities as per policies prescribed by the State Government.
