BRM Government Law College, Guwahati, Assam, started way back in 1914 as a premier institution of legal studies. Situated near Kalakshetra on Jyoti Prasad Agarwala Road, this affiliated college has been shaping the legal minds since long. It has been approved by the Bar Council of India and offers three full-time courses in law with a total enrolment of students numbering 462. As of the date, there are 26 members in the faculty and hence an appropriate student-faculty ratio. BRM Government Law College runs three comprehensive courses in law, and all these are full-time courses. The institution offers a 3-year LLB with an enrolment of 120 students, a 5-year integrated BA LLB with an enrolment of 60, and a 2-year LLM with an enrolment of 20. In this way, it covers a wide range of students, from undergraduate to advanced level, during the process of legal education. This brings the total student enrolment for all programmes to 200.
