Holding the recognition of the affiliated college, BIRDS Bachelor of Social Work College, Belgaum, was initiated in 1991 and situated at Tukanatti, Gokak, Belgavi, Karnataka. This institution has got the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and specialises in the education of social work. Situated on a sprawling 103 acre campus, the college offers two full-time degree programmes: Baccalaureate degree in Social Welfare and Master of Social Welfare. With a total enrollment of 54 students and a faculty of 9 members, EDUCARE BIRDS College has a specific orientation for fostering competent social workers. The BIRDS Bachelor of Social Work College, an affiliated College of Rani Channamma University, Belagavi , offers students two courses in social work education. The BSW is a three-year full-time programme the MSW is a two-year full-time course.
