Bharathi College of Education was established in 2015, specifically to focus only the teacher education in Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. This is a co-educational college affiliated to a university and provides a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme accredited by the NCTE- National Council for Teacher Education. Located in T.S.No. 37 Court Road Maravaneri, Salem, the college campus is in joint venture with Bharathi Vidyalaya Higher Secondary School. At present, it has 69 students’ enrolment capacity and 12 members of faculty to give the aspiring teachers a specialised learning experience. Bharathi College of Education today provides only one full time programme, which is the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.). This two-year programme aims at producing professional teacher to allow student to achieve their dream of teaching.
