Bharat Engineering College was started in the 2001 academic year, is located at Mangalpally, Ibrahimpatnam, Ranga Reddy district of Telangana, India. Bharath Engineering College, Hyderabad, also known as Bharat Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET), was established in 2001. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University , Hyderabad (JNTUH).
