Beta College of Education, Hooghly, was founded in 2017 and aims to play an important role in the formation of the effective future education environment. Situated in Betamore, Hooghly, West Bengal, this co-educational college is an affiliated college that provides teachers’ education courses affiliated to the University of Burdwan. At present, Beta College of Education offers two full-time courses , the Bachelor of Education, ( B.Ed ) and the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Both programmes' duration is two years and have an approved capacity to accommodate 50 students for each programme, and therefore has a total intake of 100 students. This kind of approach provides the possibility to pay much attention and offer high-quality education. The college has a remarkable student faculty ratio with 24 full faculty members and 100 number of students which indicates individual attention to students throughout the college period.
