Founded in the year 2003, Best College of Education, Tadepalligudem, emerged as an institution that was going to take an important role in deciding the fate for education in Andhra Pradesh. Located in the district of West Godavari in the state of Andhra Pradesh, it is a co-ed affiliated college approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. The college campus is over 5 acres in area, thus it provides an inspiring environment to young hopefuls of teachers. Admissions are made to the B. Ed programme conducted by the college on the basis of entrance test called Ed-CET taken up by the Government of Andhra Pradesh every year. Strictly on merit based scores obtained in the entrance test, the admissions are made as per the reservations planned by the government. The D.Ed programme is merit-based. The merit list has marks secured in the qualifying examination or through an entrance exam, as applicable according to the state government policy.
