One of the well-known Engineering Colleges in this part of the country is Beehive College of Engineering and Technology, Dehradun. The affiliated college was started in the 2002 and situated in Selaqui, Dehradun. The campus area is 25 acres. BCET is approved by AICTE and offers various engineering programs. The College has a total enrolment of 130 and a faculty strength of 20. The College has a systematic admission process wherein 85% of total seats are filled through State level counselling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University. It is 50% for Uttarakhand residents, 35% for All India candidates. The remaining 15% of the seats come under the management quota for which the institute organizes its own counseling based on JEE ranks.
