Awasthi College of Education, Kangra was established in 2009 via Bhather, Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. This Co-educational institution recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) offers teacher education as it major course. With a two acre compound it is a Teachers College offering only one course, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed] with an enrolment of 200 students. It has a faculty of 10 members and the student teacher ratio is also or more which reflects on that college providing more attention to its students. The Awasthi College of Education has accesses various facility in order to fulfil its obligations of enhancing education. The library is important for students in the process of learning because it offers different means to access the materials.
