Ambalika Institute of Professional Studies, Lucknow (AIPS), was set up in 2016 and has become one of the reputed colleges of the state. This affiliated college is located in Mohanlalganj, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, which has grown up to be one of the most prominent centres of technical education. Recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), AIPS presently awards three diploma courses in the field of engineering. The institute is housed on a 4-acre campus and has a total student capacity of 323 students and a faculty of 26 members. AIPS is known for its quality teaching in computer engineering, electrical engineering, and automobile engineering to compete in the technological world as well. Ambalika Institute of Professional Studies boasts of facilities that are modern to create a conducive environment for learning for the students. AIPS has a well-equipped laboratory with foghting and other equipment essential for practical training of diploma courses. Besides a computer and IT lab with internet-enabled computers, the campus uses a 24/7 Wi-Fi network for easy access to information. The institute also has its own library, procuring approximately 2600 volumes in various subjects and 20 journals in various specialisations. The library contains 85 seats and 12 multimedia PCs, which will create a suitable learning environment for research and staying at the library. In addition, AIPS has provided the students with hostel accommodation for both male and female students to enhance their comfortable stay during their studies. Currently, Ambalika Institute of Professional Studies provides a total of three full time diploma courses, each of which takes three years to complete. All its programmes have an approved student enrolment of 180 students combined. These courses allow students to study general courses and professional subjects while at the same time contributing to the formation of competitive workplace personas. This is the state-level entrance exam through which the institute prepares for admission in its diploma courses for interested students. AIPS appreciates the role of this examination in identifying competent individuals who can cope with their technical programmes. Concerning separate dates for admission, it may differ in each year; however, students should always pay attention to the JEECUP as it consists of the application process, examination date and results. Currently, admission to the institute is administered in a rather formal manner.
