Affiliated college AMAL College, located in Anakapalle, Andhra Pradesh, Visakhapatnam, was founded in 1953. Sitting majestically on 42 acre of land, this institution has been in the business of moulding the youth for almost seven decades now. AMAL College enrols 889 students and has 35 members of the faculty teaching a large variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It offers 14 courses spread across 6 degrees in Commerce , Mathematics, and Science , focusing on the area of study. This principle is demonstrated through the provision of adequate learning facilities and diverse programme packages that have the purpose of satisfying the educational demand of the Visakhapatnam area. The college library is among the best equipped; there are more than 40000 books available for undergraduate students and +7000 books for graduate students. It also faces a large number of different journals and newspapers to support the tendency toward comprehensive reading and curriculum studies. Sports and physical boosters are also provided for through a fully equipped gym, a playfield for games like soccer, cricket, volleyball, badminton, etc., and an athletic track. There are a total of 14 courses taught at AMAL College, an affiliated college of Andhra University, Visakhapatnam , and all of the courses are full-time. The institute offers a balance of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, thus improving its portfolio to address the different needs of the learners. The total approved intake for all these courses has been fixed at 984, and hence students have adequate chances to get through their preferred course.
