This is a co-educational, affiliated college granted by PCI, New Delhi, and offers various programs in pharmaceuticals. The institution has a campus of 2.5 acres, with a total student intake of 594 students; out of these, the male-to-female student ratio stands balanced at 181 males and 213 females. The strength of the faculty in this college is 48, and there are 5 courses in the institution imparting education in different aspects of pharmacy education under 3 degree programs. AMRMCP proudly boasts its adequately equipped infrastructural facilities to enrich the learning activities of its learners. The 200 square meter library is well-stocked with a vast collection of text and reference books and e-resources where a total number of 100 students can sit and study at a time. It has state-of-the-art laboratories for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. These labs are provided with e-software related to pharmacology and HAP lab studies. There exists a spacious, fully air-conditioned seminar hall in the campus with a capacity of 500 students, well equipped with modern audio-visual aids for various academic and cultural activities. The Courses running in the college of pharmacy include B Pharma , M Pharma with its three specialisations in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Analysis and Pharm.D. All programs are full-time, including a total intake capacity of 175 for all courses. B Pharma has the most significant intake, with 100 seats, while every stream of M Pharma offers 15 seats. Pharm.D will admit 30 students to its six-year course. The admission process in the college is merit-based; it accepts scores of various entrance exams. Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test is the main entrance examination for undergraduates. Postgraduate admissions are based on Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test or Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test ranks.
