Shakuntala Memorial Educational Institute, Bahraich, was set up in 2017, and makes it one of the young institute of Uttar Pradesh, India. The two courses that are core to teacher education in the institute include only a B.Ed programme with hundred seats and D.El.Ed Programme that has fifty seats only.
